The city of Blaine is friendly and attractive, a good mix of new growth and preserved natural beauty, but what it didn’t have was an authentic Asian restaurant. Dong Ta and Binh Lam came to the rescue with 5 Spice Asian Take Out, Dong’s third restaurant. Despite the name, 5 Spice is also a dine-in restaurant, serving excellent Asian food of Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese influences. Much of the menu is labeled hot and spicy, but the chef will alter the spice factor according to your tastes. The sesame chicken, kung pao and lo mein are traditional favorites, but it is well worth straying from the beaten path to try the fried Walleye filet in ginger sauce or the spicy Thai coconut curry beef. Everything on the menu is professionally executed and flavorful, and it looks as good as it tastes. When in Blaine, don’t miss the best Asian food in the region, 5 Spice Asian Take Out.

Best Chinese Food in Blaine. Period. Lunch specials are awesome. The Coconut Curry & the Green curry are the best curries i have tasted. Food is fresh and ambience for a fast food is good.

Love Love Love It! We love everything we have tried there thus far. Out of town family comes over just to order dinner from here! Fresh and delicious. Fast and affordable!
