Crazy Water
Savor the flavors of the world at Crazy Water, where chef and owner Peggy Magister uses
peak-of-freshness ingredients to create New World fusion cuisine for those with an adventurous
palate. Peggy, a Milwaukee native, received her formal culinary training in San Francisco
before returning home to launch her career as a restaurateur in 2002. Crazy Water is named
in honor of Peggy’s favorite Venetian Restaurant, Aqua Pazza, and is located in a late 1800s
dwelling that has been beautifully restored to retain the original wood floors and bar as well
as the original tin ceilings. The eatery features an open kitchen, where you can personally
watch Peggy create her scrumptious delights, along with two cozy dining rooms, making
this an equally ideal setting for an intimate supper for two or a group luncheon with friends
or business associates. Crazy Water’s eclectic menu changes seasonally and includes freshly
caught fish and seafood from the Milwaukee fish market and fresh produce from local vendors.
Popular menu favorites include the seared peppered tuna with banana salsa and fried won ton
chips, the roasted beet salad with raspberry blue cheese vinaigrette, and roasted Costa Rican
sea bass served with artichokes in shallot cream. Crazy Water boasts an array of decadent
desserts and a choice selection of fine wines from around the world that make an excellent
addition to any meal. Open up your mind to a world of culinary possibilities at Crazy Water.
