Wild Flour Bakery & Café
Dolly Mertens, owner of Wild Flour Bakery & Café, wanted to live surrounded by bread. She
now has her wish. Since 1996, Dolly, and her husband, Greg, have baked a variety of artisan
breads fresh daily. Their son Josh has been part of the business from the start, and such is his
feel for dough that Dolly calls him the brains behind the bread. Loaves are hand shaped and
baked in a brick oven on a stone hearth. All are free of fat, sugar and preservatives so you can
enjoy them without guilt. You’ll love the sourdough olive rosemary or cranberry walnut bread.
Apricot pecan, jalapeño cheese and rye are also popular. Wild Flour offers rolls, organic breads
and specialty homemade cookies, including the popular no-flour Monster Cookies. You’ll find
seasonal pies and mouth watering mixed fruit tarts. Enjoy a quick bite on the patio or a sitdown
lunch of homemade soup, fresh salad, and a hot or cold sandwich on Wild Flour bread.
