The Seasons Bistro
If there were a beauty contest for restaurants, the Seasons Bistro would be a serious contender
for the crown. The Cultural Fusion cuisine is presented with artistic flair, and every detail
of the dining area has been arranged with an eye for color and design. The exposed brick and
hardwood floors of this old building, which once housed McDonough's Buggy Works, have
never looked so good. Owner Lynn Loggins attends to the décor, which features lots of local
art. She also puts together the menu with her brother-in-law and Executive Chef Tin Pham.
They describe the food as American with strokes of Vietnamese, Thai and French. As the name of the restaurant implies, the menu changes throughout the year to emphasize freshness and seasonal favorites. Popular dishes have included rosemary roasted pork tenderloin with blueberry sauce, vichyssoise and calamari with red pepper aioli. It's hard to pass on dessert when such temptations as crème brûlée and peach cobbler are being offered. Linger over a glass of wine on the weekends and fall under the seductive spell of the soft music provided by local musicians. In 2006, Main Street McDonough named the Seasons Bistro the Best Business of the Year. Located just off the downtown square, the Seasons Bistro is open for lunch and dinner. Enjoy the Seasons Bistro, where every season is a new experience.
